I am a creative strategist, curator, and community-focused leader passionate about blending storytelling, design, and purpose-driven growth. My career spans beauty, publishing, nonprofit leadership, and experiential branding, and I bring clarity, momentum, and heart to organizations ready for meaningful transformation.
I currently serve as the Executive Director of the Children’s Museum of the Shoals, where I am leading a comprehensive rebranding and revitalization of the museum. Under my leadership, the museum is undergoing significant updates—from refreshed exhibits and improved facilities to strengthened community partnerships and new fundraising initiatives—all focused on elevating the museum to a higher standard of learning, play, and family engagement. This work has already resulted in visible improvements, renewed energy, and a strong, positive trajectory for the museum’s future.
I am also a partner at The Rausch Collective, working alongside photographer and creative director Robert Rausch to shape brands, publications, and immersive experiences with cultural relevance and long-term vision. I play a central role in strategy, advertising sales, and content direction for The Studio Journal, an award-winning publication with national distribution and strategic acquisition positioning.
An entrepreneur at heart, I am the founder of KimberlyDeLape.com, a lifestyle and image-curation platform centered on personal style, beauty, confidence, and intentional living. I am also the creator of the children’s book series Adventures of the Poodle Pack, which encourages empathy, bravery, and unconditional love in young readers.
Across all of my work, I am known for relationship-driven leadership, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to guide organizations through positive change with integrity, creativity, and purposeI have been in the fashion and design business for over 35 years. With my vast experience in styling for television, magazines and personal styling it prepared me to understand how to curate in any possible setting.
